I Garofali - the producer
The Garofoli, friends and now neighbors of "home", are here too, together with "Everything else", because we like them, because they have an ancient story to tell us and a thriving present.
Five generations at work in the world of wine production, starting with Antonio Garofoli who in 1871 started producing and selling local wines, then his son Gioacchino who in 1901 founded the Gioacchino Garofoli company, his two sons, Franco and Dante, up to to the brothers Carlo and Gianfranco Garofoli and, since 2005, also their children: Beatrice, Caterina and Gianluca. A ruthless synthesis that leaves out generations of women who have accompanied and marked the growth of the winery, we like to remember the mothers of the last generation of the Garofoli: Giuliana and the tireless Daria.
The winery at the Castelfidardo site produces Rosso Conero and Rosso Piceno, while the white grapes of this vine are processed in the cellars of Serra de ’Conti, the classic area of production of Verdicchio.
